1st Annual Mustang Ride!

Dirt, dust and 100 some odd miles mostly headed west…the brainchild of Don Powell from Panache Cyclewear Co., a fundraising event with 100% of the proceeds for the Great Escape Mustang Sanctuary. A group of dedicated cyclists and support vans left the ranch yesterday morning. Many goat heads, pissed off cowboys on dirt roads, tumble weeds, flat tires, an airport security agent re-routing the group and a very rainy finish at the top of Flagstaff in Boulder. An intense day for them and a very beautiful and peaceful day with the mustangs at the ranch with friends and family. We finished off the day with a dinner/raffle/auction at Upslope Brewing Company in Boulder, a very fun spot, with amazing soft tacos and accoutrements provided by La Revolucion Taqueria y Cantina in Louisville.
