Calamity’s Journey

Calamity was gathered from the White Mountain HMA in Wyoming at about 2 months old, on August 24, 2011, and had been in holding facilities ever since. From wild to mild, this mare arrived May 3, 2016 to GEMS. TIP trained, adopted, and kept at GEMS for saddle training, and 45 days of riding. Calamity has been a pleasure to work with. On August 28, 2016 she began her next chapter as she journeyed home with her adopter and new family. Matias and Jennifer have done incredible work with this girl and have given her a success story outside of holding and into her new life. We here at GEMS could not be happier for this amazing mare!
