Clean-up day at the ranch was a success!
The weather held out for us this past weekend and we were able to tackle tearing down old & downed barbed wire fencelines. In addition to the trailer load pictured, we hauled off 2 trucks full of coiled wire from the land. The snow did move in that evening and we awoke to bright blue skies and a blanket of fresh snow the next morning. A few days prior we brought 6 more mares home from South Dakota and that bright sunny morning, we let them out of the pen to run with the rest of the horses. They tore off down the draw and up the other side, full out through areas that we had just freed the day before…what a sight. It was the greatest present to see them run without those old fencelines keeping them in. A tremendous thank you to all that came out for the clean-up. It was a great success!
