On March 18th dive into the wild terrain of your dreams this year. Venture out onto the wild lands of eastern Colorado where wild mustangs roam. There, we will spend the day exploring our inner and outer landscapes, and begin to cultivate a deeper relationship with the dreamscape.

Sand Wash Basin Gather 43 horses out of our 50 horse goal
have been gathered!
Attention Sand Wash Mustang Adopters:
Sand Wash horses will be available for adoption via silent auction at two different locations beginning in April: The Great Escape Mustang Sanctuary (for Front Range adopters) and Grand Junction (for Western Slope adopters)
All of the horses will be made available to approved adopters first. They will become available to TIP Trainers for pickup once both adoption events are over.
SILENT AUCTION ADOPTION DAY at GEMS: Saturday, April 8th (9am-noon) BLM will be onsite to host the event, bring your trailers!
Adopters must be onsite and present to participate in the silent auction
BLM will be able to approve adoption applications until 10:45am
Adopters wishing to participate in the silent auction must pick up their bidder number prior to 11am that day, from the BLM booth at GEMS
Silent auction will begin at 11am and promptly end at 11:30am
GEMS will be able to provide overnight accommodations for out of town adopters, contact GEMS for more information:info@greatescapesanctuary.org

If you have any thoughts about adopting, make sure that you get your adoption paperwork completed and returned to the BLM. Note “Sand Wash” on the top of your adoption application.
