Gather in Sand Wash Basin?

We are woking closely with the Bureau of Land Management and the Sand Wash Herd Management Area. We’ve had many meetings recently discussing the population in SW and how we can address it’s reduction, as this area is well over the Appropriate Management Level. Over the past few years, our on the range program, the Sand Wash Advocate Team (SWAT) has been working side by side with the BLM in fertility control administration, however, we need to do more. We are now working on strategies to gather the horses, however, many steps have to happen before this can take place. When this does happen, GEMS and SWAT will be there. We will keep you posted on progress as it becomes available to us and will be reaching out for volunteer support when it does come time.
