Horizons School

A huge surprise on Friday when picking up my kids from school…I was presented with a book that the children had made inspired by our GEMS visit/presentation a couple months ago, complete with colorfully drawn pictures and informational pages from a kids perspective. To top it off, there was a donation check from a fundraising effort they had made, completely unbeknownst to me. Needless to say, there were tears…what an amazing experience, connecting kids with the horses and burros in a way that will be with them forever…just awesome. A huge thank you to Horizons K-8 in Boulder!
