“Continuing the Start”: In this clinic, the halter is on, now what? We will learn how to set your horse up for success as we begin asking for more out of the relationship. This clinic will explore topics including but not limited to:
Teaching a horse to lead with minimal resistance
Developing a partnership through beginning ground play
Understanding your horse’s thresholds and how to respond to them
Finding balance between confidence and responsiveness
Unleashing your horse’s play drive and minimizing fear
Introducing play at liberty and basic trick training
