Join us for our 2017 Mustang Mentorship Series featuring local Colorado Mustang Trainers Jessica Dabkowski, Cayla Stone and our very own Head Trainer Stephanie Linsley! This clinic is a rare opportunity to learn a crucial stage of equine development from three of the best Colorado has to offer. Each clinician works almost exclusively with Mustangs and have successfully competed at multiple Extreme Mustang Makeovers. You won’t want to miss learning from the three of them in one place!
Learn how to break down the gentling process from wild to haltered in a way that keeps both horse and human safe. We will be working with Mustangs of varying personality types or you have the option to bring your own Mustang. Each participant will have the opportunity to view demonstrations then practice the material under close supervision of one of our Master Mustang Mentors. Participants will receive the feedback they need to improve immensely in a short period of time.
Attend the entire series or join us for a specific area of interest, as each one will be focused on something different that you can add to your training toolbox. Overnight accommodations at the sanctuary amongst our wild herds are available.

– 8 (+1 baby on the way) are in GEMS training & adoption program!

GEMS is located on the Palmer Divide, on the very northern tip of the Black Forest and even though we’re east of Denver, we sit at approximately 7,000 feet. 4H Spirits of the West
The Spirits of the West 4H group are making great progress with their weanlings! We just want to give a shout out to Jessica Dabkowski of Pony Peak Stangmanship who has been leading mini clinics for the group twice a month at Little Hawk Ranch in Longmont.
These weanlings will all be available for adoption after training at the Boulder County Fair at the end of July! Stay tuned for their progress!
