Horsemanship 2:
Continuing the Connection
with Your Horse
October 23rd & 24th, 2017
Take your natural horsemanship to the next level!
This clinic will further explore equine language and how it relates to leadership in all situations.
Open to humans and horses of any level, any breed, and any age! (Horse/Human pairs may advance to ridden work as it is appropriate. Riding is not required and ground work exercises will mimic any ridden work so you won’t miss out on anything!)
We have safe mustangs available to participants for those who would like to delve into the world of horsemanship without owning a horse of their own.
Come spend an afternoon with theMustangs at GEMS! We’ll introduce you to the beauties in our training and adoption program, get up close and personal with our Ambassador Burros and Mustangs, then we’ll venture out to our sanctuary pasture to find our wild herds. Enjoy either a shortened facility tour, or an extended driving or a private group hiking tour, exploring our sanctuary herds, complete with stories about our animals and discussions about the challenges that face these magnificent beings both on and off range and how our model of support is working! It is sure to be a unique experience for all with memories that will last a lifetime.
