Our first Adoption Day was a huge success!
10 horses have moved on to their forever homes today, what a successful day! Thank you BLM Colorado, all of the adopters, new friends that came out to see what we’re up to at GEMS, volunteers and Colorado Mustangs. Stay tuned for our next Adoption Day coming in the Fall where we will have more trained Mustangs available for adoption. A special thank you to Jeff English for capturing such beautiful photographs of the day and to Jennifer Audette and Matias Guillot for all of your extremely hard work training these guys and giving them a wonderful opportunity for a new life. It was a wonderful day.
Since the initiation of our Mustang Heritage Foundation/Bureau of Land Management partnership in May, GEMS has moved 19 horses through its doors, with 8 now in training for our Fall adoption event. That’s 27 horses out of holding and into homes. Incredible! A tremendous shout out to all of the TIP Trainers utilizing our Storefront location, the wonderful Adopters that support our GEMS training program and to the BLM and MHF for the collaboration. We thank all of you for your support…together, we are making a difference!!
