IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS!!
Due to the sudden VSV outbreak in Colorado that has now spread to 4 counties, we are requiring Health Certificates for entry to the event. Coggins not required, we just need a Health Certificate with assurance from a veterinarian that your horse is free of VSV symptoms.
FOR THOSE WHO ARE UNABLE TO GET LAST MINUTE HEALTH CERTS:
We will have a vet on site from 7:30-8:30am on both Saturday and Sunday to examine horses as they arrive. The cost for an exam for those who do not have a health certificate will be $20 per animal. Please plan on arriving during these windows if you are unable to secure a health certificate on your own.
Good management and prevention techniques will be incredibly important regardless of health certificate requirements…
– Do NOT share water buckets/hay nets/bits/tools/equipment.
– Be very diligent about fly control. Get a good fly spray and use it heavily throughout the weekend. Wear fly masks (do not share fly masks) and fly sheets.
– Do not let the end of the hose sit in your buckets while filling them.
– Muck pens and remove manure as often as possible.

– The Colorado TIP Challenge
– The Multi-State Buckle Series
– The Burro Bonanza
Showoff the great partnerships with Mustangs & BLM Burros at the Colorado Wild Horse & Burro Festival! This event will showcase Mustangs across many disciplines, from jumping & dressage to western pleasure, to barrels & poles, and more! Come see how truly versatile these Mustangs can be! Burros will show off their versatility and trainability with a pack burro mini-race, trail class, freestyle, and more!
Demonstrations throughout the weekend by featured Mustang Trainers will be sure to impress!
Several trained and untrained Mustangs and Burros will be available for adoption at this event so come find your next partner!

Registration: Preregister by July 15 for 10% off class fees – Same day registration is permitted between 7-8am each day

This is a free event for spectators!
Food will be available from The Chaotic Kitchen Food Truck! (Saturday lunch & dinner, Sunday breakfast & lunch)
