Project Description
Atlas has become available again. He is a stout, sensible 5yo Mustang gelding from Range Creek HMA in UT. Atlas was gathered last year. The once shy gelding has become a friendly horse who enjoys attention and is happy to meet new people. Big reactions have turned into flinches and a few steps if he really gets worried. He stays present in most challenging situations. Atlas is an introverted horse who gets quiet when he’s stressed. His ‘no’ usually manifests as reluctance to move his feet. That sure beats a massive blow-up, and with a little perseverance he readily gets unstuck.
Atlas stands just 1/2″ over 14hh tall. He is stout and will be able to carry an adult easily. His compact built will make him a great packing prospect or wonderful mount for those of us with a shorter inseam
Atlas picks his steps carefully and always knows where is feet are. He’s an easy keeper and, much to his dismay, currently on a diet… someone is getting a bit fluffy

Atlas meets TIP requirements: Halter and lead, load, pick up feet. He stands for grooming and fly spraying. He has become easy to catch and enjoys going for walks. Now all he needs is a hooman and home of his own. He’s located in Guffey, CO. Adoption fee $125 through the TIP program.
