Ruby was the Reserve Champion at the 2017 Colorado TIP Challenge in the Youth division. She has been saddled, ground driven in a bridle, carried tarps/giant teddy bears, and is very confident over obstacles. Ruby understands basic groundwork and is soft and responsive to the lead rope. Ruby is very friendly and greets you at the gate. She is easy to catch, easy to lead, easy to handle feet. She has seen the farrier and the vet with no issues to either. She loads in a trailer and rides nicely. She has no “vices” but she is young and is mischievous (she likes to explore everything). I predict Ruby will be very easy to start under saddle as she has had significant preparation on the ground. She also knows tricks like how to lay down. Physically, Ruby is a very stout, strong filly. She is young and growing, but she will likely mature to a strong 14.2hh. She is well balanced with nice conformation and solid feet. She is an easy keeper and is confident, but not aggressive, towards other horses. KIDS HORSE PROSPECT!
