Rusty is a been there, done that kind of guy, including work as a therapy riding horse for children. He is super easy going and loves being out on the trail. He gets bored with mundane arena riding and he prefers having a job or something to do. Rusty moves at a steady pace and is not bothered by much of anything. He is definitely more “woah” than “go”. He does best with a rider that knows how to encourage him and keep him interested. He has been under saddle for many years, has ponied other horses, pulls logs, moves through transitions, trailer loads easily, is a gentleman for the farrier and is sturdy and stocky as can be.
