YOUTH MUSTANG TRAINING
Our Youth Training Challenge is a uniquely designed experience to foster a deep appreciation for formerly wild horses, instill essential life skills, and promote training and partnership with Mustangs.
Program Goals
Youth Empowerment: We believe in the transformative power of the Mustang. Our program aims to empower young individuals, aged 10 to 18, with valuable life skills, including teamwork, patience, responsibility, and empathy, all while building a strong connection with the Mustangs.
Mustang Preservation: By engaging young minds in the training and care of Mustangs, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of their conservation.
Education and Mentorship: We provide a safe and nurturing environment where youth can learn about horsemanship, equine behavior, and natural horsemanship techniques. Our experienced mentors and trainers guide participants through the training process.
Key Program Components
Mustang Training: Participants will have the unique opportunity to train and bond with previously wild Mustangs. This hands-on experience will teach them patience, communication, and the importance of building trust in relationships.
Conservation Education: We offer educational sessions on the history and significance of wild Mustangs in American culture, as well as the challenges they face in the modern world. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the need for conservation.
Life Skills Workshops: The program offers workshops focusing on personal development, teamwork, leadership, and communication. These skills are transferable and will serve participants well in all areas of life.
