Our Retirement Herd with Demi, Snowman and Sundance…this elderly bunch has special needs and therefore we are not able to find adoptive homes for them. They aren’t wild enough to join our Sanctuary Herd, so we created a special retirement situation for them. These lucky horses receive excellent daily care (including special feeds, supplements, medications, blanketing, farrier and veterinary care).

Our Wild Sanctuary Herd, consisting of 30 herd members, ages 5-27, reside on a private ranch with 900 acres and are monitored daily, provided with fresh clean water, free choice minerals and supplemental feeding when necessary in the winter months.
